My Story
Let's see, I graduated college in 2006 and have my Associates in Medial Assisting. I have worked in Cardiology and my current jam of the past 11 years is Orthopedics, scheduling surgeries and for the past 3 years, back to medical assisting and taking care of patients is what I do. I have been married to my husband Laz for almost 10 years. I I have a three grown bonus children. I am a dog mom to a chihuahua named Forrest and a boxer/blue heeler Sebastian. I am also a member of the the local Psi Iota Xi chapter , Zeta Theta, a philanthropic sorority which supports Art, Music and Literature that is non for profit and all of our proceeds go back into our community.
My Scentsy journey started August 18, 2016 when I smashed the join button after watching my then consultant unbox product she received for attending our national convention aka Scentsy Family Reunion aka SFR. I was sold after seeing what all she received but the big thing about watching that video was that it had the most perfect timing. I had some bills that needed paying off and had no extra money to do that with. After watching the video, I immediately called my consultant and said "I am in, what do I need to do?" Once I received my kit, my heels were dug in and I was ready to share it with anyone and everyone.
Why Scentsy?? This opportunity has helped me push myself out of my comfort zone and I have met some pretty amazing people in fellow consultants and my customers. I am able to start paying off my student loans and pay off some other bills. I want to grow my business and share this blessing of an opportunity with others and have them be a part of this special group of ladies and misters that I have found. My long term goal is to quit my day JOB and not have to answer to a boss but to myself and actually get paid what I know I am worth. I want to travel at the drop of a hat and not have to plan and budget for it like i do now. I want to save up to purchase an SUV and not have a car payment. There are so many reasons why I choose Scentsy, but the last reason is so that I can give back to the wonderful community that I live in so that it can grow and prosper long after I am gone.
I know that the sky is the limit and the team that I am on is amazing and the team that I am creating is a true God send. I am so excited to see where this journey takes me and I am so happy to have all of the support from my friends, family, and customers. The Scentsy opportunity for me has been a dream come true and will allow me to go places and do things I never thought possible. This company is truly more than the wax and the warmers that are sold. The friendships you make are life-changing. This business can be worked at many different levels, whether you are just wanting to make some money to pay for your Scentsy habit, money to pay a utility bill, dance class for your child or maybe just so that the times between paychecks aren't so tough.
